Deleting your CHIQ account permanently removes your profile and access to the platform. This page explains how to delete your account from within the app, how to request deletion if you no longer have access to the app, and what happens to your information afterward.
Delete Your Account In the App
Account deletion is available directly inside CHIQ — you never need to reinstall the app to do this:
- Open the CHIQ app
- Go to Profile
- Tap Settings
- Select Delete Account
- Follow the confirmation prompts
Once confirmed, your account deletion request is processed and access to your account is permanently removed.
Request Deletion Without the App
No access to the app anymore? Email support@chiqdating.com from your account's registered email address with the subject "Account Deletion Request." We'll verify and process the deletion of your account and associated data without requiring you to sign back in.
What Happens When Your Account Is Deleted
- Your profile information is permanently removed
- Uploaded profile photos are permanently removed
- Your matches are permanently removed
- Your conversations and messages are permanently removed
- Your preferences and account settings are removed
- Access to your CHIQ account is permanently revoked
Account deletion cannot be undone.
Data Retention
Most account data is permanently deleted when your account is removed. Certain information may be retained for a limited period when required for:
- Legal compliance
- Fraud prevention
- Security investigations
- Enforcement of our Terms of Service
- Protection of the CHIQ community
Any retained information is stored only as long as necessary to satisfy these obligations.
